AFFLICTION BANNED - On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, the AFFLICTION BANNED pre-fight press conference was held in Los Angeles, CA. Seventeen (17) of 22 fighters scheduled to fight on Affliction's ground-breaking inaugural fight card were on hand for interviews and press coverage.

On the fight card are legends in the sport such as Josh Barnett, Pedro Rizzo, Matt Lindland and Renato Sobral along with newer faces in mixed martial arts: Mike Whitehead, Ben Rothwell, and Fabio Nascimento and the man the MMA world has been courting since the end of PRIDE, Fedor!
